We see other people and we imagine their lives are better than ours, which sometimes leads us to beat ourselves down. And because of this, we spend a lot of time and energy trying to fix what we think is wrong, but it doesn't work. It doesn't work, because these parts of ourselves aren't broken.
Stop trying to make it a problem. Try to figure out who you want to be and then, try to work in that direction. The small self/personal stuff is only a part of who we are (temporary/changing), and that the big self within is the "real" you.
At the end of the day, we all want to feel good. We're always "ourselves", just not always the "selves" we really want to be.
Great message. It's important that we learn to be kind to ourselves and that we are good enough.
