Trust is a big part of any relationship; without it, there is nothing to build on. Great relationships are build on a foundation of trust. Trusting your partner is vital, and it takes time to build. If you don't trust that person you'll wind up having a loot of fights and feeling very insecure, the opposite of how you should feel in a healthy relationship.
You can talk about anything with each other. Great communication is the key to any successful relationship. People in healthy relationships don't hold back- even when the truth hurts.
Just because a couple get into fights doesn't mean its a sign of an unhealthy relationship. Fighting is a normal part of any relationship, as long as it is productive. If the two of you are honest with one another, there will be disagreements. It's not very realistic for two people to agree on everything, but realistic to come to a compromise. Fights that offer a resolution to the problem are healthy part of any relationship.
When you feel like you love somebody you want to start a life with them and you tend to rush things a little bit. You don't need to rush the milestones. A couple that understands the importance of savoring the moment and not rushing the milestone is considered the healthiest. There's no need to rush marriage, or starting a family. If your relationship is healthy things will reach that point naturally. Just let things flow.
It's completely possible to be in love with someone who doesn't add anything to your life. But a sure sign that you're part of a healthy couple is if your life is better because of your partner. The one you're with should always bring out the best in you. Great couples inspire one another to be better.
Both of you are able to be yourselves. You both accept each other for who you are.You don't have to pretend to be someone else in order to win approval.
You respect your partner’s feelings and your partner respects your feelings, too. There isn’t pressure to do something you are not comfortable with doing.
Outsiders aren’t calling the shots in your relationship. Relationship don't make sense, especially from the outside. So don't let outsiders run your relationship for you.
